Adding a value to crocheted items is a topic that comes up frequently in my Facebook group. Usually when people ask about the value of a crocheted item, they want to know what to charge someone for that item. They want to make a profit – big or small – from their work. How you choose to charge for a crocheted item is up to you, but here are the top three ways to add value that I have found.
If you’re like me, then you love creating fun and colorful slippers or booties for your little ones. They’re just so much fun to make!! I love that you can alter the personality of each pair by simply changing yarn color.
However, crocheted booties and slippers do have their limitations. Sometimes they might not be squishy and supportive enough…or maybe they’re too slippery for non-carpeted floors. I’ve found a few ways to help with these issues, along with my friends Shannon and Courtney.
Last week I published a post about places to buy crochet supplies like safety eyes and safety rattle inserts (you can find that post HERE). One of the suppliers that I have had wonderful shopping experiences with has noticed an increase in sales due to my subscribers! I am so happy that I can share my experiences with you…and that you are helping other small businesses succeed!
One of the most commonly asked questions in my Facebook Group is where to purchase safety eyes and other amigurumi supplies.
I like to use a wide variety of sizes of safety eyes in my projects. Sometimes I use a small eye – 6mm. Other times I use big eyes – 21mm. Here are a few online shops that I’ve had great experiences with.
Welcome back!! If you’ve been following along on with the Furls Crochet March Amigurumi CAL, then you know that I was chosen to design this month’s project. How exciting is that?! This month we’re making Denis the Easter Bunny, and I am so thrilled with the progress I’ve seen so far!
Just in case you missed it, I’m working with Furls Crochet for the March Amigurumi CAL! I am beyond honored that they chose me to create a new design for this month. Have you met Denis the Easter Bunny yet? He’s such a sweet and fun project!
I’m so honored that Furls thought of me for this month’s Amigurumi CAL! Because I love making animals – and Easter is right around the corner – I created a design that I think is fun, simple, and adorable. Meet Denis the Easter Bunny!!
The Furls Amigurumi CAL will be divided into 3 weeks. The first week we will gather the supplies to make our amigurumi, and there will be an amazing giveaway.
